Step 1. Open your Hood

Obvious step, but you will need to open your hood to install the diverter.

This water diverter is very easy to install once you have done it once. Watch the video to see how it is done with no force

Note: Failure to install properly will result in breaking the diverter. This is a zero stress component once installed. Improper installation will result in stress the product is not designed for.

Step 3. Install the Diverter

Before installing the hose, attach the diverter to the vehicle. It has to latch in a particular order. Latch the side closest to the edge of the vehicle, ensure the latching part is under the flange with the circle cut out, then hook on the opposite end. Finally push in to seat it. It will stop and be secure.

Step 4. Route and install the hose

The final step is routing the hose and attaching it to the diverter.

The goal for hose routing is to get the opening past the fuse box with no hard bends in the line. You can go behind the box or between the box and the fender. Not all vehicles have the same room due to aftermarket wiring, and difference between years and trims.
